Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q. [iOS] Bluetooth printer is not discovered or fails to connect.
1. Ensure the printer power is turned on and ready in Bluetooth mode.
2. On your iPhone/iPad, navigate to Settings βž” LabelMaster and verify that both [Bluetooth] and [Local Network] permissions are toggled ON.
3. If the printer is already paired with another smartphone or tablet, disconnect or unpair it before trying again.
Q. [iOS] Unable to select images or logos from the photo library.
Go to your iOS device's Settings βž” LabelMaster and change the [Photos] permission to 'Full Access' or 'Limited Access (Selected Photos)'.
Q. [Android] Cannot find Bluetooth printers on Android 12 or higher.
Recent Android versions require the [Nearby Devices] permission. Navigate to your device's Settings βž” Apps βž” LabelMaster βž” Permissions and grant Nearby devices permission.
Q. [Android] Can I connect and print directly using an OTG (USB) cable?
Yes. Connect your USB thermal printer via an OTG adapter, and when the 'Allow LabelMaster to access this USB device?' popup appears, tap 'OK' to start direct wired printing.
Q. [macOS] How do I connect a label printer on Mac?
1. USB Connection: Connect the USB cable and ensure your printer is recognized under Mac System Settings βž” Printers & Scanners.
2. Network / Wi-Fi: Obtain the printer's assigned IP address on your local network, then enter the IP and port (default: 9100) in the app's Network Printer configuration screen.
Q. [macOS] Are templates compatible between Mac App Store and other versions?
Yes. Created label templates and layout formats are 100% compatible across all OS versions (macOS, iOS, Android, and Windows) and can be freely exported, imported, and printed.
Q. [Common] Printing is misaligned or blank labels keep feeding (Gap Sensor Calibration).
The printer requires gap sensor calibration. Turn off the printer power. Press and hold the FEED button while switching the power ON. Release the button immediately after you hear the beep sound. The printer will automatically feed labels to detect the gap height.
Q. [Common] Which printer models and command languages are supported?
We support all Korean Xprinter series (XP-420B, XP-460B, XP-DT108B, XP-365B, XP-TT424B, etc.) and all label printers supporting the standard TSPL command set via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and USB interfaces.

1. Information Collection and Purpose

LabelMaster does NOT collect, transmit, or store any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as user names, email addresses, device identifiers, or financial information on external servers. All user templates, designs, printer preferences, and imported data remain strictly stored within the local device's App Sandbox directory.

2. Device Permissions and Usage (iOS & macOS)
  • Bluetooth & Local Network Access (iOS / macOS): Used exclusively to discover and communicate with nearby label printers over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi/Ethernet (TCP port 9100) to deliver print commands.
  • Photo Library & Document Sandbox Access (iOS / macOS): Used solely when the user explicitly selects a logo/image or an Excel spreadsheet (.xls, .xlsx) to embed into label designs. Files are never uploaded or transferred off the local device.
  • macOS Printing System (CUPS): Used strictly to send raster print commands to system-installed thermal and desktop printers.
3. Third-Party Tracking & Data Sharing

LabelMaster contains NO third-party advertising SDKs, behavioural trackers, or telemetry analytics tools. We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties.
